I have been trying so many coconut scented products that I have become desensitized from the smell. The scent that I used to hate has now become the scent I can now tolerate.
A couple of months back, Too Faced expanded their Hangover collection and I got to try a couple of them. I know it has a coconut scent but I still tried them because I enjoy using the Hangover Primer. This primer is a good hydrator before makeup and I like to use this during warm days. It has a very summery scent that is also present in the other products in the Hangover collection.
They now have the Hangover Good to Go SPF 25 Moisturizer, which uses hyaluronic acid, coconut water, and aloe leaf extract to smooth, replenish, soothe, and protect the skin.
This has a light and watery consistency. It doesn’t leave a white cast on my medium-toned skin. Instead, it leaves a creamy finish while hydrating the skin. I don’t get to use this often, however, because I prefer a sunscreen that offers more protection than its SPF 25 coverage.
Having a Too Faced product to be used at night as part of your skincare routine used to be unheard of but here we are. The Hangover Good in Bed Hydrating Serum promises to moisturize and hydrate the skin using hyaluronic acid, coconut water, and dragon fruit.
This feels lightweight as predicted and the serum is in a gel consistency. It applies light but feels a bit oily on the skin. It provides an additional creaminess to the skin, unlike more hyaluronic acid serums. Dry skin types might enjoy this while I prefer a hydrating serum in a lighter and more watery consistency.

Sharing with you these shimmering serums from Revolution Skincare. I mean, they are literally glistening. They are so mesmerizing to look at. They are just too cute.
The shimmering pink serum is the Rose & Chamomile Serum to give radiance to the skin while soothing and calming it. The green-tinged serum, on the other hand, is the Green Tea & Collagen Serum aims to hydrate and plump the skin.
I thought for sure these would feel heavy on my skin but they didn’t. Both serums are light and watery and they sink in quickly into the skin. I use the pink one at night after masking and the green one in the morning before makeup. The Rose & Chamomile Serum one feels soothing and the Green Tea & Collagen Serum leaves my skin plump and dewy. They both feel hydrating and a bit nourishing to the skin. I honestly have no problems with the serums and thankfully, the shimmer didn’t make my skin look greasy. For the price of $14 each, these serums are worth checking out. For me, they are more of a support to my skin if I’m looking to plump or soothe it.
They can also be used with the Rose Quartz Roller to help calm the skin and the Jade Roller, which claims to lift the skin.

AD| I have always stood by my statement the #kbeauty has the most nourishing serums out there. Iunik yet again has proved me right with these three serums.
The Beta Glucan Power Moisture Serum promises to moisturize, strengthen, balance, and brighten skin with beta glucan extracted from mushrooms. I always have a beta glucan serum in my stash and this just replaced that. I really like its light and runny texture and this really balances my skin. Used in the morning, this helps prevent my skin from getting too oily and it just moisturizes my oily skin.
The Black Snail Restore Serum uses 70% black snail extract, black rice, black bean, black sesame, eggplant, and sea tangle to smooth, lighten, and nourish my skin. This is a bit more viscous than the Beta Glucan Power Moisture Serum but is much more lightweight than all of the snail-based products I’ve tried. I like that it’s not slimy and it does not leave a tacky feeling to the skin. I use this at night and after a month of use, it did help in brightening my skin. It also helps in leaving my skin looking healthy and nourished.
I love propolis but found that most products using the ingredient felt too thick and too heavy for my skin. Then I found the Propolis Vitamin Synergy Serum and met my match. This serum aims to soothe, calm, nourish, and brighten the skin using 70% propolis extract and 12% hippophae rhamnoides fruit extract. This serum sticks to my skin without the tacky feeling. It sinks in beautifully and leaves my skin dewy and bouncy. I always use this at night before applying moisturizer and it helps keep my skin plump and soft.
I chose these three serums from Stylevana because they contain ingredients that I love and they didn’t let me down. Also, I have tried other Iunik products before and I always to I would get gentle and nourishing products. My oily skin loves their quick-absorbing and lightweight consistency that never made my skin overly moisturized or clogged. Altogether, these serums just helped improve the health of my skin and made my skin feel nourished, plump, and bright.

As a lover of acids, I found the Natural Fruit Acid 5% Exfoliating Glow Potion from Herbivore Botanicals gentle and nourishing. This is actually surprising because this serum contains a blend of bilberry lactic, sugar cane glycolic, orange peel citric, and apple malic acid combined with kakadu plum to exfoliate, hydrate, and even the skin. This light viscous serum doesn’t sting or tingle at all, which surprised me when I first used it. However, looking at its first three ingredients (aloe vera leaf juice, sodium hyaluronate, rose flower water, and glycerin), I figured out why it felt gentle.
I think this would be great for those looking for a vegan and cruelty-free serum that gently exfoliates the skin while hydrating the skin.
As for my skin, I have gotten to a point that my skin is clear (save for a few blemishes during my period) so I have been into gentler formulations lately. This is a product I use together with other hydrating and nourishing products that are included in my basic routine at night.
