Skincare Review: Korres Hydra-Biome Probiotic SuperDose Face Mask

Since my skin has been problematic lately, I am going a bit hard on the exfoliants and the acid. Along with those, I have been using the Hydra-Biome Probiotic SuperDose Face Mask from Korres every day.

It promises to rebalance stressed skin while relieving, soothing and recharging the complexion using greek yogurt, hydra-biome microbiome rebalancing technology, three types of hyaluronic acid, bisabolol and ginger root extracts, shea butter, apricot oil, sweet almond oil, and aloe vera.

This face mask can also be used as a sleeping mask. It feels like a thick moisturizer to the skin. It spreads thinly and applies white. Its consistency and texture felt like plaster of Paris and it smells like yogurt.

To be honest, I did not care for this the first time I tried it. It felt too creamy on the skin. However, I have come to appreciate it after using it as a sleeping mask every other day. It seeps into the skin and turns colorless. The creaminess and tackiness dissipate after a few minutes and leaves the skin feeling nourished and plump. After a week, I see the difference in my skin. It has helped brighten and clear my skin. It also left it hydrated and bouncy. After more than a month of use, I still use this once a week as a mask and twice a week as a sleeping mask. It just honestly made my skin feel and look healthier. I would sometimes use this right after cleansing and I would still wake up with bright and nourished skin. It’s honestly a new favorite.

This product is also cruelty-free and is made without sulfates, parabens, formaldehyde, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal, tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, and silicones.
