I’m late into the YTTP train but I’m going to talk about their products anyway. And, yes, like many others who came before me, this post is a profession of love.
I know a lot of people love the Superfood Cleanser ($36) but most of the review I’ve read came from those with dry skin so I was really curious as to how this would work on my oily skin. Well, I love it. It uses kale, spinach, green tea, and alfalfa, to gently cleanse and soothe the skin while providing anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits.
First off, it smells so fresh. Feels like it too. It’s like a sweet and joyous good morning greeting to the skin. It has a gel texture but is a little lighter and more watery than the usual gel cleansers I have come across with. It also lathers, which I like. It feels gentle and doesn’t leave a film. It’s just right, honestly.
My first foray into Youth to the People and I’m in love. They are simple, effective, and nice to look at. They are also cruelty-free and vegan.
