Skincare Review: Filorga Oxygen-Glow Mask

Another creamy mask, the Oxygen-Glow Mask from Filorga promises to nourish, plump, smooth, and brighten the skin with hyaluronic acid, l-enzyme, photoperfector hd technology.

This mask feels warm on the skin and gives and plump and bright glow afterward. It’s great to use if you want an extra oomph the day after. This mask feels gentle on the skin and the pink hue looks cute as well. Before a big day, I like to use a clay-based mask before this one to have exfoliated and hydrated skin afterward.

Cult Favorite: Farmacy Beauty Green Clean

Even though I enjoy the smell of Very Cherry Clean from Farmacy Beauty, the unscented Green Clean ($34) is a nice break. Of course, I like this. Aside from its actual ability to remove dirt, impurities, and just about any form of makeup, I love this because of its solid consistency that forms into a gentle lightweight lather that doesn’t leave a trace when it’s rinsed. This is how I like my cleansing balms to be and based on reviews, a lot of people like it as well.

It uses sunflower and ginger root oils, turmeric extract, moringa extract, and papaya enzymes to remove makeup without stripping or drying the skin, remove impurities, sunscreen residue, and exfoliate the complexion.

What’s the difference between this one and Very Cherry Clean? Green Clean is the no-frills and gentle elder sister. She’s the laid-back cleansing balm that gets the job done. If you do not have other concerns to solve and just want a straightforward makeup remover that doesn’t leave a residue, you go for this one. I believe Very Cherry Clean will work better for those looking for nice-smelling first cleanser with brightening benefits.

If I had to choose, what would I pick? I’m Green Clean and Very Cherry Clean’s mother so, I love them both equally.

Skincare Review: One Kind Dream Cream Nighttime Moisturizer

A mix of squalene and rosehip oil, the Dream Cream Nighttime Moisturizer from One Kind promises hydration and glow the morning after use and it fulfills both. It hydrates my oily skin and I wake up with my skin not looking greasy at all. As for the glow, this moisturizer, in conjunction with all the serums I use, leaves my skin fresh, dewy, and soft.

Skincare Review: Sigi Skin Kaleanser Face Wash and Pink Nectar

Never to shy away from cute packaging, Sigi Skin caught my eye and my natural attraction for pastel colors. I got to try the Kaleanser Face Wash and Pink Nectar, which simple but cute and are also cruelty free and are made without parabens, dye, sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS), butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT), DMDM Hydantoin, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, triclocarban, and polyunsaturated oils (PUFA).

A face cleanser in gel form, the Kaleanser Face Wash promises to remove makeup, dirt, and oils while rebalancing the pH level using glycerin and soy and kale extracts. Despite the overwhelming smell, it feels so gentle on the skin. It emulsifies and cleanses the skin quickly. I like that it doesn’t leave a film but it also doesn’t strip the skin. I like using this when my skin is feeling a bit tight because this is calming and soothing to the skin.

Pink Nectar is one of the lightest eye creams I have tried. It spreads thinly but feels really moisturizing on the eye area. Using five kinds of hyaluronic acid, glycerin, niacinamide, vitamin e, propolis, peach extracts, and actractyloides lancea root extract, this eye cream aims to moisturize, firm, depuff, and brighten the eye area. Even though I have not seen its brightening effects, what I really like about this is how light enough this eye cream is to be applied in the morning and how it moisturizes my dry under eyes. It sinks in quickly and doesn’t mess my makeup while not aggravating the dryness of my under eyes.

Bodycare Review: Agent Nateur Uni(sex) N5 Deodorant

Out of all the deodorant variants of Agent Nateur, the Uni(sex) N5 Deodorant worked best for my skin. Aside from the scent of vetiver, rose, sandalwood, cistus and warm cedarwood that last all day, this keeps the sweat at bay. I, along with my armpits, sweat easily and not all deodorants can keep up with that. This does. The creamy solid bar also doesn’t stain my clothes unlike others with the same texture and consistency. My only gripe with this is because of the creaminess, it spreads easily, which is good for application but not with the packaging. The product gathers at the edges. It doesn’t spill or melt but it can look a bit messy.

This deodorant contains coconut oil, beeswax, baking soda, avocado butter, sunflower butter, castor oil, and essential oils.
