Skincare Review: Farmacy Beauty Very Cherry Bright

There have been a lot of vitamin c -centric products right now and I’m not even mad. Vitamin C is one of the ingredients that has really saved my skin. It’s in my routine when I first got into skincare and I have been using products with vitamin c ever since.

Of course, Farmacy Beauty would never let themselves be behind. They recently launched Very Cherry Bright ($62), which contains 15% vitamin C serum using a blend acerola cherry, vitamin c derivatives. It also uses hyaluronic acid and sacha inchi peptide to brighten, firm, and hydrate skin.

The #serum feels watery, making it easy to spread on the skin but it has a sort of tackiness to it so when I use this in the mornings, I always apply a mattifying primer afterward. It smells like candy and some people might enjoy that. I like my vitamin c applied in the morning but due to its consistency, I apply this at night. What I like about this serum is that it feels gentle and nourishing to the skin. Over the past few weeks, I have noticed how it kept my skin plump and bright. However, the brightening benefit is not as noticeable as the other serums I used. This serum might be best suited for those with dry or sensitive skin who are looking for a cruelty-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free, and mineral oil-free vitamin c serum.
