Haircare Review: Aromatica Rosemary Scalp Scaling Shampoo and Rosemary Hair Thickening Conditioner,

My hair and scalp are harder to manage than my face, honestly. I have three brands of shampoos and conditioner in rotation to keep it looking okay. A couple of products in my rotation the past few months are the Rosemary Scalp Scaling Shampoo and Rosemary Hair Thickening Conditioner from the vegan and clean beauty brand Aromatica. They use traditional herbal extraction methods to ensure that the substances and benefits of plants and herbs are conserved in their products.

The Rosemary Scalp Scaling Shampoo ($26) is made with rosemary, pine needles, ginger, bhringraj, basil, coriander, oregano oils to promote blood circulation in the scalp. It also has beta-hymulgulene fro cedarwood to cleanse and revitalize the hair. I am in love with how easily this #shampoo lathers. It also gives a cooling sensation to the scalp which feels so relaxing. It doesn’t strip the hair of moisture but it doesn’t leave them feeling oily at the end of the day as well. I use this when my scalp is feeling really dry and it immediately soothes and moisturizes it after one wash. Honestly, this one is a savior.

The Rosemary Hair Thickening Conditioner ($21), on the other hand, aims to relieve pressure on the scalp and hair and restore its natural elasticity and softness with rosemary essential oil, biotin, and panthenol. It surprisingly feels light on the hair, a trait that’s a bit difficult to find in a #conditioner. Similar to the shampoo, it has a cooling sensation once massaged on the scalp. I use this when my scalp is feeling itchy to soothe and moisturize it. I use this when my scalp is feeling sensitive but want to keep my hair looking shiny. This conditioner doesn’t make my scalp oily and doesn’t make my hair limp. It’s a good product to use after days of using styling products.
