As a fan of Vitamin C, I have long wanted to try the Wild Rose 15% Vitamin C Spotless Serum ($75), a serum formulated in two phases. The top oil phase uses wild rose oil with 15% vitamin c to brighten and even the skin tone while the bottom water phase aims to minimize the appearance of skin discolorations. It also contains provitamin b5, and bisabolol and ginger root extract to hydrate and protect the skin. It has a runny texture that has a slight tackiness to it. I use this in the mornings and it’s light enough for my oily skin. After a few days of use, this immediately brightened my skin while making it look plump and soft. How I can set this apart from the other vitamin c’s in the market is how it feels nourishing to the skin. It may not be as light but this is a one and done product for me. I put this on a go straight to my fave SPF before applying makeup and my skin would still feel hydrated and soft.
