Skincare Review: First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser, Facial Radiance Pads, Facial Radiance AHA Intensive Peel, Fab Skin Retinol Eye Cream with Triple Hyaluronic Acid

Textures from some products from First Aid Beauty that I’m playing around with.

On top is the Face Cleanser ($21), which has a creamy whipped texture that promises to calm, soothe, nourish, hydrate, and protect using aloe, allantoin, glycerin, and the brand’s FAB antioxidant booster (licorice root, feverfew, and white tea extracts).

This leaves my skin leaves my skin feeling supple and soft. It cleanses but doesn’t feeling tight so I like using this in the morning for a gentle cleanse.

Next is the Facial Radiance AHA Intensive Peel ($32) which combines lactic acid, salicylic acid, and mushroom enzyme to clear, smooth, and brighten the skin and improve its texture. It has a thin texture and a pasty consistency. It’s not that creamy but easily spreadable. It dries quickly and even though I usually just let this stay on my face for a minute, I got a tingling sensation afterward that lasted until after I finished my pm routine. The results are great though, it left my skin soft and smooth and I have a glowing skin the morning after.

The one in the bottom is the Fab Skin Retinol Eye Cream with Triple Hyaluronic Acid ($42). This eye cream aims to combat the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while smoothing and firming the eye area using microencapsulated retinol and tri-molecular weight hyaluronic acid. This feels light on the skin but it feels creamy and nourishing. It sinks in fairly quickly and due to its creamy consistency, a little goes a long way. This is my first time trying retinol on my eye and after more than a month of use, this has become my new go-to eye cream. It brightens the eye area. I have extremely dry under eyes and this hydrates them so well while keeping them plump and smooth.

They also sent the Facial Radiance Pads ($32) that uses lactic and glycolic acids to exfoliate, tone, and brighten the skin. It also has lemon peel, indian gooseberry, and the FAB Antioxidant Booster. I do not use peeling pads that often but this is handy when traveling. It feels gentle enough for the skin. Lactic and glycolic acids work well for my oily skin and just smoothes and brightens the skin.
