Using Molecular Dispersion Technology 5, which allows full vitamin absorption by the skin, Somme Institute products promise to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, repair sun damage, even out discoloration and brown spots, treat moderate to severe acne as well as rosacea, improve the skin’s tone, texture, and clarity.
The Nourishing Cleanser ($45) has a jelly texture that feels like milk on the skin. It’s not drying or stripping but my skin felt cleansed and soft afterward. It didn’t leave any residue. It’s a good cleanser in the mornings but, personally, as someone who prefers a foaming cleanser, the price is a bit too steep.
The Transport Pads ($65) are exfoliating pads containing panthenol and vitamins A, C, E, B3 and B5 to buff and polish the skin, remove dead skin cells, excess oil and debris, soften lines and wrinkles, and purge pores of impurities. Right after, I used the pads which felt a little stingy at first, it really made my skin toned and clean.
This is honestly one of my faves in this bunch. The Serum ($92) aims to brighten and improve the skin with stabilized vitamin c at 15%. It is lightweight and has a gel texture that sinks in quickly onto the skin. Aside from that, I saw instant brightening after first use. It leaves my skin looking glowing and radiant.
The A-Bomb Moisturizer ($79) works to replenish moisture and correct signs of aging and sun damage with panthenol and vitamins c, e, and a. This #moisturizer has a creamy texture and a thick consistency but I wake up with soft and silky skin afterward. I reach for this whenever my skin is feeling dull and dry.
Another favorite is the Skin Reset Restructuring Cream ($95), which is formulated to reverse facial skin damage, restore elasticity using glycerin, mango seed butter, and soybean protein. This also has a creamy texture and a thick consistency. However, this leaves my skin soft, plump, and bright. It also doesn’t dehydrate my skin.
If there’s one thing I can brag about these products, they would be how they really toned, softened, and evened my skin.
