Cult Favorite: Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi™ Anti-Pollution Sunshine Drops

As someone with warm-toned medium skin, I never really felt the need to tan. Also, if I get darker from hanging out outdoors, I don’t get that glowing fresh from vacation look. I get this muddy grey-brown tone that can look dull and ashy on a bad day. So, I try to shorten my sun exposure as much as possible and instead use products to give the bronzed glow.

Then I got the Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi™ Anti-Pollution Sunshine Drops from the mail. The thin yet creamy texture feels so gentle and lightweight so it doesn’t feel suffocating of blocking to the skin. I use this mixed with my SPF if I only want a no-fuss makeup routine or with my foundation for that subtle bronzed glow. This makes me look like I spent a great relaxing time on a tropical island two weeks ago. Only I get to have that look every day.

Glow from within reads cliche but that’s what this does. It contains a chronopeptide that mimics the antioxidant benefits of vitamin D, virgin marula, black currant seed oils, along with vitamin f to also support the skin barrier of the skin and defend it against pollution and environmental stressors. I like that it doesn’t also make my skin look radiant, it also helps keep it healthy. It makes my skin look healthier and radiant without crossing the line to a muddy, uneven tan that turns shiny and gross after a few hours. I have incorporated this in my morning routine and considered it as a makeup/skincare fusion – a colored serum that boosts my warm skin tone while keeping it soft and plump.
