Skincare Review: Dewyer Face Wash and Face Cream

In Harley Gusman’s mission to find the right kind of oil to nourish, heal, and maintain healthy skin, Dewyer Skin was born. vegan and cruelty-free, their products promise healthy and hydrated skin.

The Face Wash ($25) aims to hydrate and strengthen the skin while it works on blemishes and redness using spirulina oil, chlorophyll, rosemary leaf oil, sage oil, tea tree oil, ginger root, lavandula oil, orange peel, and bergamot peel oil.

This feels really gentle and soothing to the skin. It also leaves the skin feeling cleansed, soft, and smooth, not dry or oily. This is a typical cleanser that does its job of cleansing the skin without stripping it of oils or leaving a heavy film behind. This is a good option for those looking for oil-based second cleansers to balance and hydrate the skin.

Their Face Cream ($35) is formulated to improve skin tone, skin resilience, and suppleness while working against acne using frankincense oil, aloe vera, peppermint leaf, and mugwort.

This moisturizer feels a bit too heavy for my liking. Used day or night, this somehow aggravates the oiliness of my skin. I love the smell and the softness it gives to my skin but I feel like this would work better to those who have less oily skin than I do.

The Dewyer Face Wash and Face Cream were provided by @dewyerskin. Available individually or as a set in Dew-O Pack One for $54 at
