Been playing around with these Bliss masks for a couple of weeks now and I’m having fun!
So, confession first. I love love, LOVE mint everything. It’s no surprise that I would love the Mint Chip Mania ($15).
Opening the tub is just heaven for me because it smells like everything I dreamed it would. This mask promises to hydrate, soothe, and calm with shea butter, aloe vera, peppermint leaf extract, and bentonite. It has tiny bits that still feels gentle on the skin. This is good for days where you need to relax and if you are in the mood for some mild exfoliation. It feels creamy and hydrating as well and smelling mint as it dries is everything for me.
A vegan whipped mask, the Mighty Marshmallow ($15) aims to brighten and hydrate the skin using marshmallow root extract, vitamin c, olive leaf extract, oils of lime, lemon, pine, and eucalyptus, and zinc PCA.
This is creamier than Mint Chip Mania, which I didn’t mind. I love how nourishing it feels on my skin even as it dries. It does provide instant brightening but I would have to use this more to see its effects on discoloration. I have used this in the middle of the week to counter dull skin and it has proven itself on that part, though.
A first moisturizing mask for me, the In the Honey ($15) claims to moisturize, hydrate, soften, and smooth the skin with acacia honey, honey extract, propolis extract, squalene, cocoa seed extract, and lavender oil.
This mask honestly surprised me. It applies like a jelly sleeping mask and doesn’t completely dry. I thought it would be difficult to remove and it would leave a film on the skin but it did none of those things. After rinsing and drying my face, I would only feel plump, soft, and smooth skin. Like I just applied a lightweight moisturizer. There is no tackiness, no oiliness, and no residue. It’s amazing.
Honestly, I have yet to try a bad Bliss product. For the price and the result, all these masks work feel gentle on the skin and work as promised. The Mint Chip Mania can work to detoxify even dry and normal skin while In The Honey, despite the term moisturizing calling those with dry skin, can work even for those with oily skin.
These products are also cruelty-free and are made without parabens, phthalates, sulfates, DMDM hydantoin, urea, petrolatum, mineral oil, formaldehyde, and DEA/TEA/MEA/ETA.
