Skincare Review: Everyday For Every Body Club BFF Natural Rescue Balm and Resting Beach Face SPF30 Anti-Pollution Sunscreen Serum

#geteveryday sent over some body care products to help heal and protect my skin. Researched and produced in Australia, Everyday For Every Body aims to revolutionize the bathroom cabinet by providing personal care staples made without parabens, sulfates, phthalates, mineral oils, artificial colors, and fragrances.

The Club BFF Natural Rescue Balm ($15) is formulated with papaya, acai, sunflower seed oil, and soybean germ extract, the #bodybalm is a lightweight product that softens dry areas — lips, elbows, you name it. I primarily like to use it on my lips because of the applicator. I use it before I leave the house and before I sleep so that I get plump-looking and soft lips all day. The clear gel formula sticks on well and has a minty taste to it. It gives my lips that nice glow, without looking too flashy. As a matter of preference, I like my #lipbalm light and thin so I mostly use this on the drier areas of my body like my elbows.

On the other hand, the Resting Beach Face SPF30 Anti-Pollution Sunscreen Serum ($30), with its kale, spinach, and seaweed extracts to protect the skin from grime and heat — perfect for the sunny weather. It’s also free of oxybenzone, octinoxate, and PABA. The pump dispenses enough products every pump so that’s a plus. Since the product is quite thick, I like to use it as a finisher for my morning skincare routine, adding a light layer on top of my moisturizer. Thankfully, it doesn’t have a white cast on my medium, yellow-toned skin. Since I sweat a lot too, I try not to apply it too thickly on my skin. The smell is subtle — not too overpowering, which I like. However, for my #oilyskin, I find the formula a bit thick than I would like and this makes me feel greasy and look shiny.
