Makeup Review: Trestique Good Vibes Mascara

A mascara at one end and a curler in the other? Sign me up.

The Good Vibes Mascara from Trestique is the first ever curler/mascara product that promises to curve, lengthen and volumize the lashes. The half-curler works to provide an all-day lasting curl while the mascara defines and separates lashes without any flaking or smudging.

Honestly, I always either forget my mascara or my curler, or both if it’s a really good day, so this really came in handy.

The curler is a bit difficult to use though. It curls just fine and can easily do its magic to my lashes in one push. However, since it’s black, it’s a bit difficult to apply under normal lighting. It takes a bit of getting used to and I had nicked my skin a few times. I had. O problems with its effects, though, so I wish the curler would come in a different color.

The mascara is unlike anything I’ve tried before. I usually go for rubber wands and this one is a brush, which I usually stay away from because I suck at applying mascara. I can easily smudge it in one swipe. So, I stayed away from brush wands altogether.

This one, though, amazingly makes my lashes fluffier. Something I’ve never experienced with other mascaras. It’s a whole new world, honestly. It’s a look I never thought I would go for. I also like that my lashes hold the curl and the fluffiness the whole day. It doesn’t smudge or transfer as well. It was also easy to remove with a cleansing balm. I was glad to receive this as PR because it’s a product I never knew I needed.
