My favorite, the Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration ($32) from First Aid Beauty promises to provide relief and hydration with colloidal oatmeal, shea butter, allantoin, and the Fab Antioxidant Booster.
At first, the bigness of the tub scared me. The thick whipped texture of the product inside the tub scared me more. I kept thinking, “oooh, this is not going to work for me.” I honestly put off using this, looking for a really good skin day to start it because I thought it would be too heavy for my skin.
When I got around to using it, I couldn’t stop. Surprisingly, it applied light and thin on the skin. It also sunk in quickly. It just feels so hydrating and moisturizing, not at all greasy. It also doesn’t sit on top of the skin and it doesn’t feel clogging. I like applying this after using a really exfoliating mask and on all the dry parts of my body like my elbows and knees. This is honestly one of the most hydrating cream moisturizers I’ve tried.
