I have been hearing about probiotic in skincare for a bit now so I was excited to try probiotic skincare brand LaFlore Skincare. I have to admit that I do not have in-depth knowledge about skincare ingredients. I just know what works for my skin and what doesn’t. It took a lot of research and trial and error to understand the products I’ve used and have been using. That’s why this brand sparked my curiosity so much.
Probiotics include strains of bacteria that promise to strengthen, hydrate, and restore the healthiness of the skin while helping improve signs of aging and neutralizing skin stressors. LaFlore, which aims to create healthy and vibrant skin by delivering triphase multibiotics and time released botanical actives.
The Probiotic Cleanser ($42) promises to soften, brighten, and balance the skin while washing away makeup and pollutants and resetting the skin’s microbiome.
The Probiotic Serum Concentrate ($144) is an aloe-based serum with triphase multibiotics combined with a hydrating blend of plant oils and protective antioxidants that works to calm, smooth fine lines and wrinkles, and boost the skin’s natural defense system.
The Probiotic Daily Defense Moisturizer ($85) is an aloe-based moisturizer that contains triphase multibiotics, botanical humectants, antioxidants and vitamin D3 to prime and protect the skin and its barrier function.
The Probiotic Cleanser is applied on dry skin and does not foam, unlike the usual cleansers. It left my skin bright and fresh looking after use. The serum feels light on the skin and leaves my skin feeling calm and hydrated. The Daily Defense Moisturizer, meanwhile, makes my skin feel soft and smooth. I can go out without putting any makeup on.
After more than a month of using these products every morning, I can see its nourishing effects. It also helped my skin feel soft and look healthy and I can’t wait to see its effects on my fine lines.
