Cult Favorite: Amore Pacific Treatment Enzyme Peel

The Treatment Enzyme Peel from Amore Pacific is a water-activated exfoliator that promises to gently dissolve dead surface skin cells for brighter skin. It contains natural papaya enzymes work to exfoliate the skin without causing irritation, allantoin to calm and soothe, and green tea leaf extract to protect the skin from free radical damage. It’s also formulated without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.

Even if this exfoliator comes in in powder form, this still smells exactly like their Essential Fluid – a strong floral smell. I’ve had my fair share of powder products and I have to say, this one is the most easily dissolved by water. A couple of drops plus some very light mixing and this becomes a creamy liquid.

It feels gentle when massaged onto the skin and removes all the excess oil without the tight or dry feeling, which is why I think this would work even for those with sensitive skin types. My face actually feels soft and smooth afterward. This honestly impressed me, because it seems laborious but it’s actually easy to use and gentle while still being effective. After a few weeks of use, I have noticed how this helped brighten and soften my skin. This is specifically useful on days when I need to mask the dullness of my face away but I don’t have the time or the energy.

I would recommend this to those looking for a gentle exfoliator that will help with the skin’s texture and dullness.
