Cult Favorite: Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm

Since my skincare routine became more than just about cleansers and masks, first cleansing with a cleansing balm has become a favorite of mine. So, it’s just normal for me to try all the raved about cleansing balms out there.

There’s a long list of people who love the Moringa Cleansing Balm from Emma Hardie. This cleansing balm aims to deeply cleanse, rebalance, hydrate, and moisturize the skin by removing all traces of makeup using purifying and botanical ingredients. It contains moringa seed extract, wild sea fennel, grapeseed oil, sweet almond oil, and vitamin e plus essential oils of orange, neroli, mandarin, jasmine, and rose. It also comes with a dual-action cleansing cloth, which has a microfibre side for product removal and a muslin side for exfoliation.

I have posted about this balm before when it came in an Amazing Face set. I found it too oily before and have honestly wondered why it is loved by everyone. Then I got it in 100ml and now I get why. Yes, it smells amazing. Massaging it on your face is an experience in itself because of the oils it contains, making the actual use of the product feel relaxing and calming. The balm removes all the gunk and makeup I accumulated and had on during the day. This is removed best with the cloth that it comes with. Once rinsed, my skin is left cleansed and moisturized without leaving any residue. Sometimes, when I’m really exhausted, I just use this and follow with a moisturizer afterward. I will still wake up with a well-moisturized skin in the morning.

I know get why so many people love this product and I’m thankful I got the second chance to try it. Aside from cleansing my face and keeping it moisturized, what I like best are the scent this has and the opportunity it provides for me to shortcut my skincare routine on extremely busy days.
